Hi there! I'm Nick, and I like to build things. Most often I'm exploring ideas in code and building things that live on the internet. On occasion I'll make something out of wood when I'm needing to work on something tangible.

I'm currently serving as CTO of TicketCity, having arrived from a development lead role at IBM. Before that I spent years learning from some really smart people at small companies around Austin like Blade Technologies, Adhesive Software, Classmap.com, and TeleNetwork.

Current interests include, but are not limited to:

• Business: ecommerce / marketplaces, automation, pricing / analytics, workflow optimization
• Technology: cloud-native architectures, serverless architectures, data processing and visualization
